Sustainability

In the building materials and heavy industry, too, awareness of the need for sustainable action is growing steadily.

At Claudius Peters, we feel committed to this claim. We have recognised that it is crucial to minimise our ecological footprint and to assume social responsibility. For this reason, we have taken a number of measures to put sustainability at the heart of everything we do.

Energy Efficency

Energy efficiency is the focus at Claudius Peters. We develop and supply plants that are designed for energy efficiency and resource preservation. We do this not only in our own interest, but also to help our customers reduce their own ecological footprint over the entire life cycle of the plant. The efforts of Claudius Peters thus contribute to making the entire industry more sustainable.

Waste Reduction

Another important aspect is waste reduction. Claudius Peters is continuously working on minimising waste products in the manufacturing processes and optimising the shipping packaging of our machines. In doing so, we increasingly rely on recycling solutions wherever possible. This serves not only ecological but also economic purposes, because less waste means lower costs.

Training and Safety

Training and safety are of paramount importance to Claudius Peters. We place great emphasis on providing comprehensive training and raising safety awareness for our employees as well as our customers. This not only helps to prevent accidents, but also improves working conditions overall and promotes the well-being of employees.

Our regional presence with branches in America, Asia and Europe also enables us to better serve our customers worldwide and shorten transport routes. This not only contributes to efficiency, but also helps to reduce CO2 emissions and thus make a contribution to climate protection.

In addition to continuous further development to increase the efficiency of our machines and plants, we are working together with our customers on the CO2-neutral building materials production of tomorrow. Through considerable investment in our in-house Technical Centre, we are able to research the grinding-drying and calcination of minerals such as gypsum using CO2-neutral hydrogen to produce hot gas.
