Agreement brings together complementary technologies to offer integrated solutions across the gypsum value chain
Buxtehude, Germany – Claudius Peters, the German engineering and industrial technology company and subsidiary of Langley Holdings plc, has announced a collaboration with Chinese equipment manufacturer Shandong Sanjin Glass Machinery Co., Ltd., part of Switzerland’s Bucher Industries AG.
The collaboration brings together two established industrial equipment manufacturers with complementary expertise in gypsum processing and plasterboard production, with the aim of providing more comprehensive solutions to customers worldwide.
The announcement was made during Claudius Peters’ recent Gypsum Open Days at its Technology Centre in Buxtehude, Germany.
Complementary Technologies
Claudius Peters has extensive experience in gypsum preparation, grinding and calcining, with its EM Mill technology widely used in gypsum processing applications.
Sanjin specialises in the design and manufacture of plasterboard production machinery and associated equipment, including forming, conveying, drying and handling systems.
By combining their respective technologies and engineering capabilities, the companies aim to provide integrated solutions covering the gypsum production process, from a wide range of raw material sources through to the manufacture of high-quality plasterboards.
The collaboration will enable both companies to address customer requirements across a broader scope of the gypsum value chain, with a shared focus on production efficiency, reliability and product quality.
Strengthening International Cooperation
The two companies also presented their complementary capabilities at Global Gypsum, sharing an exhibition stand and engaging with customers, partners and industry professionals.
The collaboration reflects the increasing importance of integrated engineering solutions as gypsum manufacturers seek to optimise production processes, improve energy efficiency and address evolving environmental requirements.
The announcement was one of the highlights of the Claudius Peters Gypsum Open Days, which also showcased recent EM Mill developments and the company’s upgraded Technology Centre, including a new hybrid hydrogen/natural gas burner.
